Gulf market representation

The India-Europe corridor increasingly routes through the UAE and Saudi Arabia. Most firms need a presence there without a full entity.

The Gulf sits in the middle of the India-Europe corridor in a way most companies underuse. India-UAE trade has crossed $100 billion for two years running under the CEPA agreement, Jebel Ali Free Zone alone already hosts more than 2,300 Indian companies, and the India-Middle East-Europe Economic Corridor is explicitly designed to cut India-Europe shipping times by up to 40 percent by routing through Gulf infrastructure. For a company already working the corridor, a Gulf presence isn't a third, separate market to conquer, it's a logistics and representation base that can serve re-export, distribution and regional sales into both directions at once. The problem most firms run into is treating it as an all-or-nothing decision, either a full UAE entity with all the setup cost that implies, or no Gulf presence at all, when the more common need is lighter: a representative who can attend meetings, manage a re-export relationship, or hold a Gulf-based distribution point without the company standing up a full local operation.

What we deliver

Gulf representation

A local point of contact who can meet buyers, attend trade events and manage day-to-day Gulf relationships, without the company setting up its own entity.

Re-export and transshipment structuring

Routing and documentation set up to meet CEPA's direct transport rules, so shipments don't lose preferential tariff status through incorrect handling.

Free zone entity guidance

Where a lighter-touch representation isn't enough, structuring a Jebel Ali or equivalent free zone entity, sized to what the business actually needs, not a maximal setup.

CEPA tariff qualification

Confirming which of your products qualify for CEPA's duty elimination, and what documentation is needed to actually claim it at the point of import.

Regional distribution coordination

Using the Gulf as a base to coordinate distribution into wider GCC markets, not just the UAE, alongside the existing India and Europe operations.

How it runs

1
Weeks 1-2

Positioning assessment

Whether the Gulf role is representation, re-export, or a full entity, based on your actual trade flows and what CEPA or free zone status would realistically save you.

2
Weeks 2-4

Structure setup

Representation arrangement or free zone entity structuring, plus CEPA documentation and tariff qualification for your specific product lines.

3
Weeks 4-8

Operational handover

Local point of contact established, re-export routing confirmed, and initial buyer or partner meetings arranged.

4
Ongoing

Representation

Continued Gulf-based representation and coordination, scaled up to a fuller entity later only if the volume genuinely justifies it.

Who this is for

Not for you if the Gulf is meant to be your primary market rather than a corridor support point. That's a full market entry, not representation, and deserves its own dedicated engagement.
